Lead the next phase of resource growth in our Northern operations. As Senior Resource Definition Geologist, you will drive resource definition and near-mine exploration programs, identify opportunities to expand and upgrade Mineral Resources, and provide technical leadership to a high-performing team.

About the role:

Role responsibilities:

  • Lead resource definition and near-mine exploration programs to grow and upgrade Mineral Resources.
  • Identify, prioritise, and evaluate geological targets using drilling and geological datasets.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to geologists, field teams, and contractors.
  • Manage drilling campaigns, ensuring safe, efficient, and budget-aligned execution.
  • Maintain geological data quality, QAQC standards, and resource model integrity.
  • Manage budgets, reporting, and stakeholder relationships to achieve exploration objectives.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualification in Geology.
  • Current C Class Manual Driver's Licence.
  • Significant experience in resource definition, mine geology, and brownfields exploration within a gold mining environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience mentoring and developing geologists and technical teams.
  • Strong technical capability in resource drilling, geological interpretation, data management, and QAQC.
  • Proficiency in Leapfrog, Surpac, GIS, and 3D geological modelling software.
  • Proven ability to manage drilling programs, contractors, budgets, and technical reporting.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and organisational skills.
